House renovation and extension in Spetses

Existing two-level building dated from the early 80’s and located at Kasteli, Spetses, is to be extended and renovated to meet a contemporary family’s needs within the familiar traditional formal elements. The new house layout is L-shaped with a covered veranda at the ground-floor, where the kitchen, dining room and living room are. On the first floor there are three bedrooms and two bathrooms and the uncovered veranda of this level can be accessed by external built staircase. The extension will be constructed by bearing stonewalls covered with white plaster. The building’s sloping roof will be covered with ceramic byzantine tiles.
